Bet your wondering what I've been up to. The past two months have been extremely busy. I've been trying to learn CSS and XHTML in order to apply for some other positions in my school district. As it happens, I got an offer of transfer without completing my studies, but will resume them shortly in order to set up a proper website for the new job's library. I'll fill you in on the details after I sign the contract paperwork tomorrow. Until then, it's a 99.999% done deal. Unless something goes screwy in the final contract.... Meanwhile, I was also trying to get my act together to apply to graduate school (what? AGAIN? yes.) I will be starting at Capella University next month. If I can handle two classes per quarter, I should be able to finish the coursework in under three years. The program of study is a PhD in Education, with a specialization in Instructional Design for Online Learning. Update on the family: the 'rents have not yet completely moved into their house, but we're hoping it will be this Saturday, after the new fridge shows up. It's been quite a month and a half of renovations, doctor's visits, and even a 911-worthy emergency. All par for the course, really.
